Who we are

Formula Commons ("Formula", "we") is run by Zhenia Vasiliev. This policy covers formulacommons.com and blog.formulacommons.com, including the Formula Daily newsletter.

What we collect

Email address and, optionally, your name when you subscribe to the newsletter or download a free resource. We also record where you signed up (which form or resource), the date, and whether you opened or clicked an email. That is the full list. No accounts, no passwords, no payment details.

Our hosting providers (Cloudflare and Hetzner) keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and performance. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

To send you the emails you asked for: the Formula Daily newsletter, a short welcome sequence after downloading a resource, and occasional announcements about new tutorials or templates. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with anyone for their own marketing.

Who processes it

We rely on a small set of services to run the site: Ghost (subscriber list and newsletter publishing), Mailgun (email delivery), Cloudflare (website hosting), and Hetzner (blog hosting). Each processes your data only to provide that service to us.

Unsubscribing and your rights

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops all mail immediately. You can also email inbox@zheniavasiliev.com to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted; we respond within 30 days.

Retention

We keep your email for as long as you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your address stays on a suppression list so we do not accidentally email you again; everything else is deleted within 90 days.

Cookies

The site stores a single preference in your browser for the light/dark theme and to remember that you have already unlocked a resource. No third-party cookies.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the newsletter. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
